Refund Policy

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under that law or under consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

1. Free trial

The Matrix offers a 14-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial, so there is nothing to refund during the trial period. If you don't want to continue, simply don't subscribe — your trial will lapse automatically.

2. Monthly subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We don't provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a paid month, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

3. Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for 12 months. If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase or renewal, we'll refund the payment in full. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable for the current term, again subject to Australian Consumer Law.

4. Lifetime purchases

Lifetime purchases are refundable within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 14 days, they are non-refundable.

5. Major failures

If the Service has a major failure (as defined by the Australian Consumer Law — it is unsafe, differs materially from what we described, or can't be used for its main purpose), you are entitled to a refund regardless of how long you've held the subscription. Contact hello@chunkland.com.

6. How to request a refund

Email hello@chunkland.com from the address associated with your account. Include your license key and the reason for the refund. We'll respond within 5 business days and process approved refunds back to the original payment method within 10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. Please email us first — we're almost always faster than your bank.
